Lovely hotel with a location that can't be beat. So nice to come back to the leafy Condesa streets after sight seeing! This hotel is cozy and fun, with a nice bar for a nightcap. My only complaint is that it was a bit noisy at night but nothing some white noise can't fix. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, particularly Horatio the bartender. Thanks for a great stay!

We just returned from a 3 night stay at Hotel San Fernando and can't recommend it enough. The location in Condesa is perfect - right in the middle of everything. The whole building is beautiful, and our room was much more spacious than expected. The bit of noise from the street is to be expected anywhere in CDMX, and wasn't anywhere near enough to disturb our stay. We also loved the lounge downstairs and enjoyed the live music on Saturday night. But the staff would be the biggest highlight of staying at this hotel. They really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. We had experienced a scheduling glitch via Hyatt's booking system - not the fault of the hotel at all. The front desk staff immediately reached out to us to find solutions, and were so gracious and accommodating throughout our entire stay to make things right. It was so not necessary, but so very appreciated. We will definitely be back during our next trip.

Excellent service, straight out of an Architectural digest magazine & location is 10/10 My wife and I left our passports in our room and they took it upon themselves to uber it to the airport so we wouldn’t miss our flight. Will be back

Lovely stay at this hotel. Keep in mind as others have surely mentioned that this hotel lacks an elevator and there are no rooms on the bottom floor. As of February 2026 the 4th and 5th floors have AC, with floors 2 and 3 containing wall units that are not yet operational. I was told they would be functional within a few weeks or months. The staff is kind and attentive and there is a lovely lounge/bar area on the bottom floor. Note that they only give you one key (an actual, physical key). Continental breakfast contains pasties, coffee, fruit, and yogurt. Would stay again!

Lovely boutique hotel, in a great location - walking distance to a good number of restaurants and coffee shops. The best part of the stay was an exceptional service....and Mexican vibe room.

My husband and I had a mostly lovely but slightly mixed time staying at Hotel San Fernando during our honeymoon. Pros: Rooms are clean, comfortable and beautiful. You can’t beat the location, we were able to walk almost everywhere from the hotel and the tree-lined streets by the park are gorgeous. The hotel bar makes an excellent cocktail. Everyone who worked at the hotel was very kind and accommodating. Cons: This may be because we were on the first floor, but something about the architecture made sound reverberate so we heard EVERYTHING coming from the lounge and hallways - voices, music, doors opening and closing, etc. The lounge begins playing music at 6:45 am and ends at around 11 pm - from our room we heard all of it and were woken by the lounge music every morning without fail. The “continental breakfast” is just pastries and fruit. Eggs, chilaquiles, etc (anything substantial) are all $200-300 pesos, so saying breakfast was included felt like a misrepresentation. Overall a lovely hotel, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re a light sleeper.

We loved our time at the Hotel San Fernando! The location in La Condesa could not have been better - so close to the park, tons of restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The bar/restaurant within the hotel was also great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The one down-side was that in our 5 night stay, our room was only cleaned by housekeeping once - every other day we had to ask for fresh towels and replenishment of the filtered water in our room. Would 100% stay here again! Very worth the price.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay at Hotel San Fernando. Location is amazing if you are looking to explore Condesa and Roma. So many amazing food and drink spots just steps away. We loved walking through the parks every morning. Others have mentioned it can be a noisy area, my wife is a very light sleeper but with our sound machine we slept great every night without issues. Staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special. Coffee and breakfast downstairs in the morning was a great bonus. Will be staying here again for sure.
